To be admitted to the Bachelor of Arts Management in International Business at the Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management (HdWM), you need one of the following qualifications:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or
- Subject-specific university entrance qualification or qualification for universities of applied sciences
- A foreign university entrance qualification recognised as equivalent
A Numerus Clausus (NC) is not applied. The following documents are required for the application: tabular CV with academic background, proof of university entrance qualification, exam results already obtained and a copy of your ID card. The language of instruction is English. Corresponding English skills are expected; explicit proof of language skills may be required depending on your origin or previous education.

The monthly tuition fees for the Bachelor Management in International Business amount to €590 for students from Germany and the EU. For students from non-EU countries, the fee is €764 per month. In total, EU students pay tuition fees of €21,240 for the standard period of study of six semesters. For enrolment in the summer semester 2026, a discount campaign applies: If paid in advance, HdWM grants a one-time discount of 20% on the tuition fees. Further individual payment options and funding through scholarships or government support can be applied for separately.

Typically, the university requires 12–13 years of schooling for direct entry. In some cases, applicants with an HND may need to have started or completed a further course of study before being eligible.
