Admission requirements
- Applicants must have a high school diploma and prove at least 1 year of relevant work experience or have passed an advanced training exam as a State-certified business economist, certified accountant, etc.
- Similarly, a completed vocational training in connection with relevant work experience or other industry-specific education is required as an admission requirement.
- Technical requirements include the availability of a PC with internet access.

The distance learning program "International Business Administration" of the European Distance University Hamburg GmbH leads to the degree "Bachelor of Arts" and comprises a total of 180 ECTS credits.
The course content is divided into various areas:
- Foundations: Here, topics such as academic work, mathematics for economists, and computing skills are covered.
- Accompanying subjects: These include economics, law, and business informatics.
- Business languages: English, French, and Spanish are taught in this area.
- Business subjects: This includes general business administration, marketing, accounting, investment, finance, taxes, personnel and organization, as well as business management and controlling.
- Specializations: Specializations include international trade management, business ethics, international logistics, financial management, and competition law, among others.
The course has a duration of 36 months in total and requires an effort of 15 hours per week. It includes three 2-day presence seminars in Hamburg, online seminars, and a 2-week International Seminar at a partner university abroad.
