- Proof of practical experience in the commercial sector of at least 6 months (this can also be acquired during the course of study).
for (advanced) high school graduates/trainees:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification and additionally
- Training contract for a commercial profession.
for the full-time study programme (trainee):
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification and additionally
- Trainee contract or (part-time) employment contract or internship contract.
additionally:
TOEIC language test with a minimum of 600 points
(Proof must be provided by the end of the 2nd semester at the latest).

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
This German-/English-language degree programme takes increasing globalization into account. It provides you with specialist knowledge of all operational business areas and enables you to communicate and present expertly in both German and English. The study concept, consistently focused on international topics, prepares you to tackle holistic tasks in an international context, so that you can take on cross-disciplinary responsibility, confidently handle various leadership styles and working methods, manage conflicts, and achieve synergy effects in collaborative work.
COURSE CONTENT AND STRUCTURE:
The first semesters deal with imparting fundamental business administration knowledge, on which the following semesters build in greater depth.
International issues are consistently the focus of the teaching units. The work-integrated FOM concept offers an optimal combination of your work within the company and a business administration university degree. The innovative mix of teaching methods consisting of face-to-face lectures, workshops, and group work qualifies you for management tasks in an international context, e.g. foreign assignments, and promotes important key skills such as teamwork and communication skills.
Even during the foundation studies, practical examples are used to establish the connection to the international environment. From the 5th semester onwards, all modules have a consistent focus on international aspects of economic activity.
In the 7th semester, interdisciplinary case studies as well as the final thesis (Bachelor’s thesis) are the main focus. Scientific knowledge from the studies is applied to concrete cases from international business practice. Upon completion of the university degree, the academic degree »Bachelor of Arts (International Management)« is awarded.
