What formal admission requirements are there?

To be admitted to the Master's programme in Business Psychology, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A completed, undergraduate university degree (e.g. Bachelor's, Diploma, or Magister) with at least 180 ECTS credits in a relevant subject (usually Business Psychology or Psychology; other degrees in social sciences, economics, or law are assessed individually).
  • Alternatively: A completed first degree with at least 180 ECTS credits plus at least 1 year of relevant professional experience in a related field.
  • If no university degree is held: With at least a two-year relevant professional training and at least two years of qualified professional experience in the business psychological field of activity as well as passing an aptitude test (for example in the form of a term paper or letter of motivation), you can be admitted under certain conditions.
  • Depending on individual prior education, further proof may be required, such as credit points (CP) in psychological basics or business administration, English skills at level B2, or participation in an admission interview.

You should have an interest in business psychological contexts and the willingness to deepen academically. Analytical skills, communication strength, and a structured way of working are helpful, as the course includes project-oriented modules, empirical research, and management topics. You can start the course at any time on the 1st of a month.

The teaching content is delivered via a digital learning platform. There you will find all scripts, videos, and interactive materials. Exams can be taken flexibly online, and the coursework includes essays, online presentations, reports, and, in some cases, on-site exams at examination centres. Study coaches and lecturers personally support you throughout your studies and are available for individual advice. Choosing two out of four study specialisations as well as additional supplementary subjects allows you to create an individual profile.
