In the Master’s degree programme in Psychology (M.Sc.) at Hochschule Fresenius, you deepen your knowledge in key areas of psychology. The study contents include psychological diagnostics, methodology, cognitive neuroscience, and the reception of current research findings. You learn the practical skills of preparing psychological reports, using multivariate analysis methods, as well as conducting and evaluating empirical research. A special focus is on the independent planning and implementation of scientific studies. In the supplementary area, you can choose from various specialisations: for example, Clinical Psychology, Intervention, Coaching and Counselling Psychology, Mediation and Conflict Moderation, Personnel and Organisational Psychology, or Work Psychology. Course Structure: How is the Master’s in Psychology organised?

The Master’s degree in Psychology is structured as a four-semester full-time programme (120 ECTS). The organisation of the studies focuses on practice-oriented teaching, scientific deepening, and independent research. In addition to compulsory modules in diagnostics, empirical research methods, and cognitive neuroscience, you take elective specialisations in various fields of application. In the second semester, you also select a supplementary module from another Master’s programme at the Hochschule – this broadens your interdisciplinary horizon. Excursions, interdisciplinary courses, as well as an eight-week compulsory internship are fixed components of the curriculum and enable you to apply what you have learned immediately and to establish contacts in practice. In the fourth semester, you complete the degree with an independently designed and carried out Master’s thesis.

The monthly tuition fees vary depending on the campus and amount to:

• Frankfurt am Main: 695 Euro per month
• Heidelberg: 750 Euro per month
• Düsseldorf, Cologne, Munich: 850 Euro per month

In addition, a one-off registration fee of 695 Euro applies. The total costs for the programme amount to around 17,000 to 20,000 Euro depending on the location. The fees include all courses, exams, access to practical offers as well as optional additional services (for example language courses, personal development, networking events).
