The Master's programme Translation (M.A.) at the International University SDI Munich is aimed at individuals who have a strong interest in language and communication and already possess a high level of proficiency in German and at least one foreign language (English or Chinese). Admission Requirements at a Glance

  • Completed Bachelor's degree – The field of the first degree is irrelevant. The Master's programme Translation is non-consecutive, so applications from all disciplines are possible.
  • German language skills – Demonstrable language proficiency at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Language skills in the chosen foreign language (English or Chinese) – C1 level (CEFR) in the chosen foreign language of the study focus is also required.
  • Proof(s) – Proof of language skills and the Bachelor’s degree (or imminent completion) must be submitted with the application.
