Details
The degree programme is aimed at future decision-makers in the YMCA, church, diaconal services, as well as other social economy organisations and networks, e.g. in associations (experienced professionals from the YMCA, church, and diaconal services as well as from other social economy non-profit sector institutions, business and social economists, graduates of bachelor’s degree programmes at the YMCA University).
Contemporary social changes require a new form of leadership for Christian contexts that is able to combine modern management methods and instruments with a sound understanding of subject-specific as well as ethical requirements, without promoting a one-sided economisation.
In times of increasing economisation, digitalisation, mobilisation, pluralisation, and individualisation of all areas of life, leaders must not only have economic management tools but also increasingly possess skills in moderation and process design in order to achieve organisational goals.
