Admission requirements
Access with 180 credits from the first degree
With a completed undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university with a focus on business studies and at least 180 credits, you can be admitted if:
- You have at least one year of relevant work experience after the first degree and can provide an additional 30 credits through further education and training measures OR
- You have at least one year of qualified work experience after the first degree and can complete modules recommended by the program management totaling up to 30 credits.
Access with 210 credits from the first degree
With a completed undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university with a focus on business studies and at least 210 credits, you can be admitted if you have at least one year of qualified work experience after the first degree.
You have sufficient English skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Details
This degree program is specifically designed for non-lawyers who need extensive and up-to-date knowledge of business law to evaluate entrepreneurial decisions on both a business and legal level and to find legally compliant solutions for complex issues. It is characterized by a high proportion of 80% legal content. In addition, you will gain specialized knowledge in a profile focus area of your choice.
Exams can usually be taken monthly either online or in person at one of our 10 examination centers nationwide. You also usually have the choice between online or on-site seminars in Hamburg.
