The dual nursing degree programme at Hochschule 21 combines nursing practice with the latest findings from nursing science and its related disciplines such as medicine, psychology, social science, management, ethics, and pedagogy.

During the course of study, internships are completed with various cooperation partners of Hochschule 21 focusing on different thematic areas.

With this degree, you gain extended professional expertise to take on management tasks in complex case management (e.g. in cases of multiple illnesses or chronic diseases), to develop and evaluate concepts for patient counselling and patient education. At the interface between management skills and nursing expertise, you are qualified to take on professional leadership in a disciplinary nursing team or an interdisciplinary team. You moderate case discussions and case conferences, evaluate nursing quality, and contribute to quality development.
