  • If your first degree is 180 ECTS, take courses totaling at least 30 ECTS and additionally demonstrate at least 1 year of work experience. Alternatively, demonstrate at least 2 years of qualified work experience.

For the 120-ECTS version, the following is also required:

  • Your first degree should focus on health or nursing sciences, human biology, human medicine, or pharmacy.
  • If your first degree focuses on statistics, biostatistics, sociology, or related social sciences, political science, or economics, you can be admitted if you have completed 2 courses focused on Medical Basics totaling 10 ECTS. Or if you complete the course "Medicine for Non-Medical Professionals I" (if only one course is missing) and "Medicine for Non-Medical Professionals II" (if two courses are missing) at IU.

In addition, you can have prior learning recognized to shorten the study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. Credits earned in previous Master's programs can be recognized, and extensive work experience in the field of Public Health can also be recognized by the university.
