Admission requirements

The degree programme is aimed at applicants with a technical college entrance qualification, high school graduates, employees from the healthcare industry and healthcare facilities (e.g. nursing professions, BTA, MTA, commercial employees), employees of insurance companies as well as graduates of other university degree programmes who wish to qualify in the healthcare sector.

This degree programme is also chosen by graduates in business administration and medicine in order to deepen existing knowledge in the field of health economics.

The degree programme imparts you with business administration, legal, and medical-pharmaceutical knowledge, enabling you to undertake management tasks in companies within the healthcare sector.

In the fields of inpatient and outpatient healthcare, the demands on employees have been increasing for years due to health policy reforms. The same applies to companies in medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry, and biotechnology, as well as the pharmacy market, insurance sector, and service providers in this industry.

Therefore, we offer you a multidisciplinary curriculum from the fields of theoretical medicine, pharmacology, business administration, law, and corporate management, as well as various foreign languages.

During the course of your medical economics studies, you have the opportunity to proactively engage in practical projects depending on the stage of your studies. If you have the personal and professional aptitude, you also have the chance to take on project responsibility yourself under the guidance of a lecturer or academic assistant.

Through the networking of the study contents, our students acquire a future-oriented academic qualification.

The mathematics bridging course is offered to all properly enrolled first-semester students before the start of the semester. The dates will be communicated in writing upon admission or enrolment.
