For admission, you need a successfully completed, usually three-year training in occupational therapy or physiotherapy. This must be a state-recognised professional qualification. A formal school-based university entrance qualification such as the Abitur is not required; you can be enrolled without the Abitur – the therapeutic professional qualification alone counts as the admission route. The recognition of your therapeutic training towards the degree programme is binding and reduces the duration of study by half (90 of 180 ECTS are automatically recognised).

The degree programme is completely designed to be part-time alongside your job and flexible. You can start at any time as there are no fixed semester dates. The standard period of study is optionally 36 or 48 months, but due to the recognition of your training, the study duration is shortened to 18 or 24 months. You therefore decide which time model best suits your life situation.
- The study materials are available to you digitally (PDF, e-book, audio, HTML5) or printed on request.
- The APOLLON Online Campus supports you with web-based trainings, learning videos, and interactive tasks.
- You can conveniently take exams and assessments online – both as open-book exams and at numerous exam centres nationwide.
- Three mandatory 2-day seminars take place in person on site in Bremen. Many seminars are also alternatively available online.
- Individual specialisation is possible through elective modules.
- If needed, you can extend your study period free of charge by up to 50 percent or pause temporarily.

Presence phases are limited to three 2-day seminars in Bremen, which you can plan well in advance. Many seminars also offer the option of online participation. All other events, exams, and communication with lecturers and other students take place via the APOLLON Online Campus.
If required, exams can also be taken at exam centres in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or worldwide at Goethe Institutes and consulates.

The tuition fees amount to €8,370 in total, with monthly instalments of €367 per month. There is the possibility of further reducing costs by foregoing printed materials or applying prior achievements.
