The Bachelor's degree program in Applied Therapy Sciences (Occupational and Physical Therapy) (B.Sc.) is an extension of the study offerings at the APOLLON University of Health Care Management in Bremen. This part-time program is aimed at qualified professionals in occupational and physical therapy who wish to academically further qualify themselves for increased responsibility in patient care.

The program aims to teach evidence- and science-based practice in their own profession to meet the growing demand for health-promoting and interprofessional competencies. Students should be able to act therapeutically responsibly, interprofessionally, based on scientific evidence, and reflectively. They will be taught knowledge and skills for evidence-based planning, development, and evaluation in various therapeutic fields. Personal competencies such as transparent, competent, and cooperative actions are also developed.

The program consists of a total of 180 ECTS credits (5,400 hours workload) and is divided into two modularized parts. The acquired competencies and skills from a therapeutic education are fully creditable. The teaching concept is designed to be independent of location, time, and semester, offering various didactic teaching materials such as multimedia-enriched study booklets, audio files, video lectures, textbooks, and online lectures to ensure flexibility for the students.
