Requirements and Target Group
The MBA programme Digital Healthcare Management is aimed at professionals with initial experience in healthcare or related fields who wish to acquire management and digitalisation knowledge for leadership positions. What admission requirements apply for the distance learning programme?
To be admitted to the MBA Digital Healthcare Management, you need a completed university degree (Bachelor, Diplom or Magister) with at least 180 ECTS credits. Additionally, you must have at least one year of qualified professional experience in a relevant field. The professional experience should have been gained in healthcare, the healthcare industry, IT for healthcare or in an interface function between healthcare professions and digitalisation.

Alternatively, if you have a university entrance qualification, completed vocational training in the healthcare sector and at least two years of relevant professional experience, admission via an aptitude test is possible. Additionally, programme-specific proof may be required, such as CP in economics, technology or proof of English language skills (at least B2 level).
You should have a pronounced interest in digital technologies as well as in management and leadership tasks in healthcare. Analytical thinking skills, willingness for independent, practice-oriented learning and openness to change processes are helpful. Experience in handling digital tools in professional everyday life, communication skills and the ability to work in a team support your study success. Self-motivation, determination and the ability to independently acquire knowledge are particularly important for a distance learning programme with a high proportion of online elements.
