Details
The aim of the Bachelor's degree programme in Fashion Journalism is to offer students interested in a career in print and online journalism an attractive, internationally oriented opportunity to obtain a qualification in a course that combines BSP's scientific core competencies in management and business administration with journalistic methods and working practices specifically for fashion and lifestyle topics. The students are enabled not only to acquire in-depth expertise in fashion, journalism, and corporate communication, but also to learn strategies for successful entrepreneurship.
The strong practical orientation is particularly evident in the project study phase, in which students gain direct experience within companies in the media and fashion industries during a multi-week project study and subsequently present their findings. Here, the BSP Career Center plays an important role as an interface between students and various national and international companies. Internationality is a significant aspect of the training process at BSP. On the one hand, the International Office draws on various renowned partner schools abroad, such as the Berkeley Institute in New York, and on the other hand, offers the possibility of an internship abroad. Additionally, internal practical projects, cooperative projects with external industry partners, or accompanying special projects such as international specialist workshops or public events with fashion and cultural performances take place during the course of study.
