The degree programme is aimed at applicants with a general university entrance qualification, subject-specific university entrance qualification, or advanced technical college entrance qualification, as well as technicians and master craftsmen.

For applicants who have completed technician or master craftsman training or who can provide relevant professional experience, this study requirement is of course fulfilled.

Electrical engineering and electronics shape all areas of society. They are key technologies. Core areas include information and communication technology, automation technology, energy and drive technology, and microelectronics.
The degree programme as a foundation prepares for professional activity in an exciting and varied field of work that promises the further development of creativity and the self-realisation of the engineer. In order to provide the broadest possible access to the various fields of electrical engineering / electronics, the degree programme in our department is based on teaching engineering fundamentals in mathematics, electrical engineering, technical physics as well as computer science and data processing.
