For admission, you need a first university degree (Bachelor’s, Diplom, Magister) in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, business administration or a related field with at least 180 ECTS credits. Applications with similar degrees are also possible, provided that at least 90 ECTS credits in relevant subjects can be proven. If you have acquired fewer than 210 ECTS credits in your first degree, you can compensate the missing credits through a preparatory course programme or the recognition of a practical semester. There is no numerus clausus (NC). The programme can be completed on a part-time basis, either as a classic Studium-Plus or as a Dual-Plus model. The language of instruction is German.

You should bring analytical thinking skills, organisational talent and the ability to solve complex practical problems. The study duration is 3 semesters (standard period of study), with practice-oriented projects, case studies and real company tasks always at the centre. The last semester is dedicated to the Master’s thesis, which often focuses on current issues from construction practice.
Practical relevance, project work and personal exchange with experts from the industry characterise the concept. The courses are held in German.
