Admission requirements
For the Bachelor of Tourism Management (B.A.), professional experience of at least 3 months in the tourism industry is required. In addition, a general (subject-specific) university entrance qualification or an equivalent school leaving certificate must have been obtained. It is also possible to enrol in the Bachelor’s degree programme without a higher education entrance qualification: for this, at least a 2-year vocational training plus 3 years of professional experience or a master craftsman certificate or an advanced training qualification must be demonstrated.

The distance learning programme Tourism Management (B.A.) specifically prepares for these demands. Graduates of this programme have a comprehensive understanding of the tourism industry with solid economic and sector-specific expertise. They develop into industry specialists and are ideally positioned for leadership roles in tourism. During the studies, you acquire in-depth knowledge of economics. The social, methodological, and leadership skills learned are essential for management positions. A distinctive feature of this degree programme is the high proportion of sector-specific study content, which is taught from the first semester onwards. This includes topics such as “Tourism Marketing”, “Trends and Innovations in Tourism”, “Hospitality Management”, “Customer Integration and Communication” as well as “Customer Care Management”. This bachelor's degree programme is modular in structure.
