With your Master's in Online Marketing, you can work, for example, as an Online Marketing Manager, Head of Online Marketing, or Performance Marketing Specialist.

The IU International University offers the Master's in Online Marketing in 2 variants: the 60-ECTS variant takes 2 semesters in full-time studies, while the 120-ECTS variant takes 4 semesters in full-time studies.

For both variants, a first academic degree from a state-recognized or state university is required, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The final grade of your degree should be at least "Satisfactory."

For the 60-ECTS variant, the following is also required:

  • If your first degree is 240 ECTS and you can demonstrate at least 1 year of qualified work experience, you can be immediately enrolled in the Master's program.
  • If your first degree is 210 ECTS and you have at least 1 year of qualified work experience, you can be immediately enrolled in the Master's program in Online Marketing.
  • If your first degree is 180 ECTS, you complete courses totaling at least 30 ECTS and additionally demonstrate at least 1 year of work experience. Alternatively, you demonstrate at least 2 years of qualified work experience.

For the 120-ECTS variant, the following is also required:

  • Your undergraduate degree should have a focus on economics or business administration.
  • If your undergraduate degree does not have a relevant focus, you must complete a Master's access examination. Upon passing this, you will be enrolled in the Master's in Online Marketing.

Additionally, you can choose to complete this Master's program in German or English. If you opt for the English-language version, you must demonstrate your English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, Cambridge Certificate, or similar. Upon request, you can also complete a free English course at IU at level B2.

Furthermore, you can have extensive prior achievements recognized to shorten your study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. Recognitions can include achievements from previous Master's programs or extensive work experience in the field of Online Marketing, which the university may acknowledge. It is best to submit your recognition request along with your application.
