Admission requirements
- Interested students must have a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate good English language skills, at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- A completed vocational training or a relevant internship of at least six months in an international company is recommended.
- It is required that students have a PC with internet connection in order to participate in the course.
Details
The aim of the degree program is to enable graduates to independently assess international aspects of business decisions and develop solutions for internationally relevant business issues. Possible career fields after completing the program include specialist and leadership positions in an international context, such as leading international projects, establishing branches abroad, or managing a company's global procurement.
The program can be completed in two different versions: with 120 or 60 ECTS credit points. Students with prior experience in international management can choose a shortened version that focuses on the area of International Leadership.
The European Distance Learning University Hamburg places great emphasis on various learning formats that accompany distance learning. These include study materials, an introductory seminar, an international seminar abroad, as well as various digital components such as educational films and online tutorials.
The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council and is aimed at individuals who are interested in pursuing an advanced academic degree in the field of international management.
