Admission requirements
A successfully completed first degree is required. The bachelor's degree should have been obtained in a business or STEM field. Other qualifications demonstrating experience in entrepreneurship will also be recognized.
The degree should have at least 180 ECTS and come from an accredited university. If the degree is from a university outside of Germany, it should be listed with "H+" in Anabin. Applicants also have the option to apply with a current Transcript of Records.
A 10-page pitch deck for a business idea is required. Additionally, proof of English proficiency through the TOEFL or IELTS test is necessary.
TOEFL-iBT: At least 100 points
IELTS: At least 7.0
Applicants must then demonstrate relevant international experience of at least three months.
At least 480 hours of practical experience in a business or entrepreneurial field are required. Work experience should not exceed four years.

Master in Entrepreneurship
This business-oriented degree programme is aimed at individuals with an academic background in economics who either have entrepreneurial experience or are interested in acquiring it.
The 17 to 21-month full-time programme, conducted in English, provides a comprehensive insight into key topics such as entrepreneurship, establishing a new business, product development and technologies, entrepreneurial finance, innovation, social entrepreneurship, and family businesses.
Program Structure
The programme is offered in two tracks. There is a 90 ECTS track for 17 months and a 120 ECTS track for 21 months. The 90 ECTS course includes a one-week capstone module, after which learners undertake a minimum four-week internship.
The 120 ECTS track includes a six-week internship, followed by the thesis after the international stay.
For this programme, WHU now offers a start-up internship in addition to the regular internship.
There are two different programmes available: the 90-credit programme and the 120-credit programme lasting 17 and 21 months, respectively.
90-Credit Programme: Students who have completed their bachelor's degree with at least 210 ECTS credits can choose the 90-credit programme. This programme lasts 17 months and includes a one-week international capstone module.
120-Credit Programme: Students who have completed a bachelor's programme with 180 ECTS credits can opt for the 120-credit programme, which lasts 21 months. As a participant in this programme, you will spend your third semester in the master's or MBA programme at one of our 200 partner universities abroad.
