Who is the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Economic Psychology Suitable For?

Which Formal Criteria Must You Meet?
The following admission routes are possible:
- With (Advanced) School Leaving Certificate: General higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification (according to § 37 paragraph 1 HmbHG) as well as a continuous professional practical activity related to the course of study of at least 12 weeks before the start of studies.
- With Subject-Specific Further Training Examination: Completion of a suitable subject-specific further training examination (e.g. master craftsman, specialist) and participation in an advisory interview with the Euro-FH admissions committee.
- With Completed Vocational Training: Proof of completed vocational training and at least three years of professional experience as well as passing an entrance examination in which the aptitude for the desired course of study must be demonstrated. Up to two years of parental leave or care are credited.
There is no Numerus Clausus (NC). You can start your studies at any time.
For the course, you should have the ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as most of the content is studied through guided self-study. Communication skills, analytical thinking, and an interest in economic as well as psychological issues are advantageous. Experience with digital learning formats and willingness to self-organise support your study success. Particularly helpful are motivation for further development and openness to interdisciplinary work between business administration and psychology.

- Personal support: subject-specific tutors as well as personal student advisors accompany you through all phases

- Examinations: you take the exams flexibly every month – online or at one of ten examination centres nationwide
- In-person components: during the course, you participate in four two-day online or face-to-face seminars. Depending on the chosen specialisations, additional seminars may be added
- Compulsory elective modules: individual specialisation through the selection of two focal points
- Flexible extension: free of charge if more time is needed
- Recognition of prior learning: previously acquired qualifications and further training can be credited individually towards the degree, reducing study time and costs
At the end is the Bachelor's thesis, which is created and submitted according to scientific standards.
