Admission requirements
- In order to participate in the course, applicants must have a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification.
- In addition, a minimum of 3 months of practical work experience is required, or alternatively proof of a specialized professional examination, e.g. as a State-certified business economist or specialist manager.
- Alternatively, applicants with a completed vocational training and several years of work experience can also be admitted, possibly after an entrance examination.
- An internet connection is necessary to participate in the course.

The distance learning program "Business Administration and Business Psychology" of the European Distance Learning University Hamburg GmbH leads to the degree "Bachelor of Science" and comprises a total of 180 ECTS credits, spread over a period of 36 months.
The course contents are divided into two main areas: Business Administration and Business Psychology. In the field of Business Administration, topics such as General Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Cost Accounting and Controlling, Personnel Management, Investment and Financing, as well as Business Management are covered. In addition, the course includes scientific work, English for Business, New Work, Basics of Accounting, Digital Work, Economics and Business Law.
In the field of Business Psychology, fundamentals of psychology, Occupational, Organizational and Business Psychology, Statistics, Psychological Competence, Aptitude Diagnostics and Personnel Development, Research Methods in Practice, as well as Intercultural Psychology are taught.
Furthermore, elective modules are available, such as Market and Advertising Psychology, Change Management, Leadership Psychology, Qualitative Research in Theory and Practical Application, Crisis Management in Business Psychology, Operational Education and Competence Management, Corporate Learning and Digitalization, Personnel Services and HR Consulting, International Seminar, as well as Operational Health Management in Practice.
The course also includes the preparation of a Bachelor Thesis. Students participate in a total of four 2-day seminars, which take place online or in person. Additionally, additional seminars may be added depending on the chosen elective modules to deepen the learning objectives.
