Admission: What do you need to get started?
To be admitted to the Bachelor's programme in Social Work (B.A.), you must provide proof of university entrance qualification. The following qualifications meet the formal requirements:
- General university entrance qualification (A-levels) or technical college entrance qualification
- Master craftsman's certificate or equivalent professional qualification
- Completed training with subsequent several years of professional experience, as well as passing an aptitude test (studying without A-levels is possible)
If you are a state-recognized educator, you can have up to 6 modules recognized, thereby shortening your study time. For other qualifications (such as completed training or a relevant degree, e.g. in Sociology), individual recognition of acquired credits is possible. There is no numerus clausus (NC).

Subsequently, classes take place weekly at fixed times online, allowing you to study independently of your location. Exams are typically taken online; examination centres in Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, Munich, or Hamburg are available upon request.
