You are socially committed and interested in sport? Would you like to reach and work with people in different life situations through sport? In the degree programme "Social Work and Sport" at the German University for Health and Sport, you can pursue exactly these goals.
In your studies, you will acquire specialised and practical knowledge of social work and learn what role sport can play here. You will engage with classic topics of social work, such as ethical, social and educational fundamentals, psychology, intervention methods, and law and organisation. You can then deepen and apply these in numerous practice-oriented courses in the field of sport-oriented social work.
The degree programme "Social Work and Sport" starts in 2019 in Berlin. Alongside your bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Arts), you can also receive state recognition as a social pedagogue upon application to the Berlin Senate Administration.
