Admission requirements

For admission to the Master's programme in Psychology: Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, a successful Bachelor's degree with a specialisation in Psychotherapy according to the Psychotherapeutic Law reform is required. The allocation of study places is independent of the Numerus Clausus and includes a selection interview. The start of studies is possible each winter semester.

The Master's degree programme in Psychology: Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Psychologische Hochschule Berlin is aimed at students with a completed Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a designated specialisation in Psychotherapy who seek an advanced scientific and practice-oriented training in the field of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. The training is based on the reformed Psychotherapy Act and prepares you for the licensing examination as well as further psychotherapeutic qualifications in various methods. The study concept relies on manageable cohort and seminar groups and close, individual support by scientifically and practically experienced lecturers. The focus is on becoming acquainted with the four socially recognised psychotherapeutic methods and the intensive linking of theoretical, scientific and practical content.
