With your Master's degree in Pedagogy, Educational Counseling, and Leadership, you can work, for example, as an educational staff member in initial, further, and continuing education, as a manager for E-Learning and digital learning content, or in educational leadership.

To be admitted to the part-time Master's program in Pedagogy, Educational Counseling, and Leadership at IU International University, you need to have obtained a first degree with a focus on (social) pedagogy, education, or educational sciences from a state-recognized or state university, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The final grade of your degree should be at least "Satisfactory."

Admission to the Master's program is also possible if you have completed a first degree in Psychology. In your Psychology studies, you must have taken at least 10 ECTS in the focus areas of pedagogy, educational sciences, educational psychology, or pedagogical psychology. Alternatively, you can acquire the missing ECTS through additional courses at IU.

Furthermore, you can have prior learning recognized extensively to shorten your study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. Recognized achievements may include those obtained in previous Master's programs. Extensive professional experience in the field of pedagogy, educational counseling, and leadership can also be recognized by the university. This Master's program at IU consists of approximately 19 modules, which you will take and complete over the course of 4 semesters of regular study time. Each module has a scope of 5-10 credits (ECTS) and concludes with an examination performance such as a term paper or an exam. In total, you will earn 120 credits from module to module and from semester to semester.
