Details

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Transdisciplinary Early Intervention at MSH Medical School Hamburg trains students to become specialists in early childhood development from birth onwards. Early intervention has been a highly specialised field of developmental diagnostics, therapy, and support for children facing developmental difficulties for decades both nationwide and internationally. Such difficulties can arise, for example, due to illnesses, challenging life circumstances, or disabilities.

Our internationally oriented and practice-based Bachelor’s degree programme offers students a scientifically grounded pedagogical education. The students receive intensive support from the university professors and are prepared for an emotionally and professionally demanding occupation. They are enabled to recognise the complexities of developmental processes, to acquire interconnected knowledge about the opportunities and risks of child development, and to see themselves as part of a team that supports the individually best possible development of the child.

The Bachelor’s degree programme is state-recognised and professionally accredited.
