The focus of the course is chemistry, complemented by economic and communication subjects. You can choose from three specialisations:
- Chemical Engineering: Focus on chemical reaction engineering, mechanical and thermal process engineering, as well as process development

Economic subjects – such as business administration, economics, human resources management and organisation – as well as management and communication techniques complement the scientific expertise. The modularly structured programme initially imparts scientific fundamentals (mathematics, physics, chemistry). Advanced modules cover inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, biochemistry, analytics, catalysis, as well as mechanical, thermal and chemical process engineering. English language skills and soft skills are also promoted. During the course, you choose your individual specialisation – either Chemical Engineering, Analytics or Chemistry. Content from business administration/economics is integrated, so that you can later take on interface functions in interdisciplinary teams.
