Admission requirements
For the dual Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Management, it is required that a vocational training contract with a media-specific company has previously been entered into. In addition, a general (subject-specific) university entrance qualification or an equivalent school certificate must be presented. The Bachelor's programme can also be undertaken without the Abitur; however, this requires at least a 2-year vocational training plus 3 years of professional experience or a master craftsman’s certificate or a further advanced training qualification.

The range of tasks in the communications and media industry is diverse. With this dual Bachelor’s degree programme, graduates are well prepared for employment in this sector. Upon completion of this Bachelor’s distance learning course, graduates have developed an integrated understanding of the multifaceted communications industry. In addition, they have acquired professional, methodological, social, and communicative skills and are able to successfully apply these at both national and international levels, while also being capable of undertaking central and market-oriented business activities in the communications and/or media environment.
