Which formal admission requirements must you meet?
The following admission requirements apply for entry to the dual Bachelor's programme in Business Informatics at PFH Göttingen:
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or
- Advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur) or
- Professionally qualified individuals: At least three years of completed vocational training plus three years of professional experience in a recognised apprenticeship occupation.
In addition, you must conclude a training contract with a PFH partner company (or your own cooperating company). The selection procedure includes the submission of your certificates, CV, as well as a motivation letter and a personal selection interview. In individual cases, an online test will take place.
The programme is NC-free; your grades do not matter, motivation and personal suitability are decisive.

The dual degree is designed for six semesters (three years) and links theoretical periods at the university with extensive practice-integrated phases in a partner company. You study on campus at the Campus Göttingen in attendance mode and simultaneously gain valuable professional experience in the company.
- Theory and practice blocks alternately: Lecture times and practical phases are closely interlinked. During lecture-free periods, you work in the company and apply the knowledge you have acquired directly.
