The Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science at Provadis University offers a practice-oriented and internationally focused qualification for specialist, managerial, organisational, or evaluation tasks in the field of computer science. The aim is to train students to become performance-oriented specialists and managers who possess solid scientific foundations, problem-solving and organisational skills, as well as interdisciplinary communication abilities.

The course prepares students for professional activities as computer scientists in internationally operating companies and institutions. It imparts broad specialist knowledge to develop and maintain systems consisting of software and hardware. Not only current content is taught, but also theoretically well-founded concepts and methods that are relevant beyond trends and enable lifelong learning.

The degree programme corresponds to the recommendations of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. and imparts scientific fundamentals, methodological competence, and job-specific qualifications. Students carry out practical projects within companies in order to apply what they have learned in professional practice. The programme is accessible to everyone who meets the admission requirements. It can be completed as a dual study programme or alongside employment.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science has a duration of 6 semesters with a cooperation agreement or 7 semesters without a cooperation agreement. The course is offered in German and takes place alongside employment in Frankfurt am Main. It is accredited by the Accreditation Council.
