Deutsch Admission requirements
Requirement for participation: Participants have completed at least a 6-semester degree programme oriented towards business administration or sports management at a university, university of applied sciences, or dual university, or can provide evidence of a comparable qualification from a German or foreign higher education institution. Degrees from vocational academies of accredited bachelor programmes are equivalent to bachelor's degrees. Alternatively, a completed first degree and evidence of adequate industry-relevant additional qualifications and professional experience.
Furthermore, they can provide proof of 30 ECTS credits from economics courses in their completed first degree. If not, they can still begin this master's programme through appropriate bridging courses, i.e. by taking additional modules or courses. Additionally, they can demonstrate at least a three-month internship or professional activity in a sports organisation or a business enterprise related to sports.

For everyone who wants to become a leader in the sports business: The master's degree programme imparts the necessary expertise to take on leadership positions in the diverse sports industry. Graduates of the IST University’s Bachelor's degree in Sportbusiness Management can use the master's programme as an extension of their academic qualification.
