Admission requirements
To participate in the course of study, you must have a (technical) university entrance qualification or an equivalent school leaving certificate. Alternatively, you can also qualify through at least 2 years of vocational training combined with an advanced training qualification or a master's certificate, or at least 2 years of completed vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience. Additionally, you must in any case have completed a practical internship in the healthcare sector lasting at least 3 months. Proof of this must be provided by the beginning of the 3rd semester.

The healthcare sector is currently facing several challenges. These include the increasing average age of the population, which requires enhanced care and preventive measures. For the implementation of such initiatives, professionals with a solid education who possess both health-related knowledge and business management skills are sought. The degree programme “Management in Healthcare” provides you with a comprehensive insight into the main structures and stakeholders of the healthcare industry and teaches you how to successfully manage financing as well as project and service management in healthcare institutions, and how to implement health promotion measures. This way, you prepare yourself optimally for leadership positions in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, outpatient and social facilities, as well as health insurance companies and associations.
