Details

The demand for experienced and qualified specialists and executives in the healthcare sector is high. For years, the growth figures in this area have been impressive – and against the backdrop of demographic developments, this trend will probably continue for many more years. The debate about the shortage of skilled workers is therefore repeatedly brought into focus. In healthcare, this not only refers to the sought-after nursing professionals and therapists but also to qualified management personnel in healthcare institutions such as clinics, hospitals, and care facilities.

The interdisciplinary master’s degree programme "Health Management" (M.A.) offers you, over five semesters as an online distance learning course, practical knowledge covering all essential areas – from empirical methods to management skills and process management – for prospective executives within the standard period of study. The focus of the course is a profound scientific reflection on current and future management tasks, which particularly prepares you for the challenges of a position in senior management in healthcare institutions.

During your studies, you can also choose your personal, career-oriented specialisation to further deepen your skills.

Specialisations in the Master’s degree Health Management are:
• Management in Hospitals and Clinics (KuK)
• Management in Healthcare Institutions and Nursing Services (GuP)
