The distance learning course Management in Healthcare is aimed at individuals who wish to take on administrative, organisational or strategic tasks in the medical and health sector. It targets professionals from the healthcare sector who aspire to a leadership position, as well as career changers interested in the combination of management and healthcare economics. The programme is also suitable for school leavers with a university entrance qualification as well as professionally qualified individuals who want to scientifically advance their career in healthcare. Typical fields of employment after graduation include hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, care centres, health authorities, consulting or health insurance companies.

What formal admission requirements do you have to meet?

To gain admission to the Bachelor’s degree Management in Healthcare at Hochschule Fresenius, you must fulfil one of the following conditions:

Since the course is completed as a part-time distance learning programme, you need good time management, self-discipline and the willingness to continuously further your education over a longer period. Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage but not strictly necessary.
