Admission requirements

You have the general university entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific university entrance qualification, or an equivalent school leaving certificate. Additionally, you must have completed a three-month internship in the fitness sector or have at least three months of professional experience in the fitness/health industry. You can also enrol in this dual degree programme without an Abitur: For this, you must have completed at least a two-year vocational training and possess a master craftsman’s certificate or an advanced vocational qualification, or you have completed at least a two-year vocational training and can prove at least three years of professional experience. Additionally, you must have completed a three-month internship in the fitness sector or provide evidence of at least three months of professional experience in the fitness/health industry.

Details

The fitness and health market is becoming increasingly important. At the same time, fitness and health facilities are being managed more professionally. This also raises the demands for service and quality in the industry. With this distance learning programme, we specifically prepare you for these requirements. For example, upon completion, you will be able to recognise and understand central economic correlations in fitness and health companies and to plan and optimise fitness- and health-oriented care concepts as well as individualised training programmes. In addition to important, well-founded business knowledge related to the fitness industry, you will acquire the social, methodological, and leadership skills essential for management positions. Furthermore, you will be taught fitness-specific expert knowledge, including in the fields of training theory, sports medicine and nutrition, as well as fitness management. Through various elective modules, you can tailor your studies to your personal interests. Another advantage of this bachelor's distance learning course: already in the first semesters, you will receive industry-relevant training licences, enabling you to apply your acquired knowledge early on in the training area.
