Admission requirements
The admission to the MBA programme requires a degree from a university or university of applied sciences with a final grade of 2.5 or better.
The MBA programme is generally open to all academic disciplines, such as physics, chemistry, medicine, economics, engineering, and law.
Since the lectures in the MBA programme are exclusively held in English, adequate language skills at the IELTS level 6.5 are required. Other officially recognized language certificates, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, at a level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, are also accepted. Knowledge of German is not required but recommended for administrative purposes.
Large parts of the programme focus on concrete work processes in everyday professional practice. To better understand the study contents, practical work experience after completing the undergraduate studies is recommended but not a prerequisite for admission.
The admission to the MBA programme requires employment subject to social security contributions during the studies in Germany.

The MBA International Business offered by the Rheinische Hochschule Cologne in cooperation with the University of East London provides a unique opportunity for an international management career. As a dual-degree programme, graduates will earn a certificate from the Rheinische Hochschule according to the German ECTS system as well as a certificate from the University of East London following the British higher education system. The focus of the programme is on acquiring leadership skills in an international context, preparing you for senior positions in general management.
The programme is designed for working professionals who already hold a Bachelor's degree in any field. With a strong practical orientation and the flexibility to study alongside work, the MBA offers an ideal environment for ambitious career goals.
Approximately half of the programme is conducted online, complemented by on-site sessions in Cologne and London. Core modules include Accounting, Finance and Managing Information Systems, Mental Wealth, Professional Fitness and HRM, Marketing in a Digital Age and Operations Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Strategy, as well as Business Simulation with People Development.
