Admission requirements
- Completed studies (Bachelor, Diploma or equivalent degrees) at a state or state-recognised university (University of Applied Sciences/university) or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study at a vocational academy.
- Applicants with a first academic degree in a non-economic field must successfully complete a Pre-MBA semester before starting the course.
- Graduates from foreign universities are admitted if their degree is recognised in Germany and good knowledge of German is proven (for example through the language examinations DSH, PNdS, TestDaF, the Central Advanced Examination or comparable qualifications).
- At least 1 year of professional experience, usually after completing the first degree.
- English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework (CEF), demonstrable no later than the end of the 2nd semester, for example through: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, APIEL or comparable achievements. The HFH offers as a comparable achievement an interview in English at level B2.

Not only within your own company but also as a manager employed by another, you can develop entrepreneurial thinking and action. Building on the scientific foundations of management, you will learn to act as an intrapreneur – an entrepreneur within the company. The focus of the broadly designed MBA programme is on innovation and change management, which is particularly in demand in times of globalisation. This equips you well for challenging leadership tasks.
The start of studies is 1 January and 1 July each year. The application deadlines are 15 November and 15 May each year.
