Admission requirements
Please submit the following application documents for the Master's programme in International Management (MBA) at CBS International Business School. Please note that documents for English-language programmes must be submitted in English and documents for German-language programmes must be in German.

Copies of Academic Certificates
Include copies of your previous academic degrees (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) as well as evidence of your academic achievements (Academic Transcript of Records).
For international applicants:
A copy of your ID as well as, if applicable, your residence permit.
Proof of English Proficiency
For admission to an English-language programme, you will need to provide proof of your English proficiency. This proof can be submitted by the start of the programme. Accepted certificates are:
TOEFL Certificate (minimum 92 points, Internet-based)
IELTS (minimum Band 6.5)
Cambridge English Advanced (CAE)
BEC Higher and equivalent language certificates (not older than two years)
Alternatively, you can also provide proof by spending at least six months in an English-speaking country (internship, study, work), although this will be assessed on an individual basis. We also offer a free online English test.
Optional:
Evidence of a semester abroad and/or internship or relevant work experience.

The MBA International Management is an intensive full-time programme that is ideally suited for graduates of non-business-related disciplines who wish to expand their knowledge. CBS offers a comprehensive programme taught in English to optimally prepare students for international careers. The target audience includes graduates of non-business-related disciplines who wish to acquire a solid understanding of business administration, as well as those who wish to refresh their specific expertise.
The study programme spans four semesters and comprises 120 ECTS credits. In the first semester, students acquire basic management knowledge, followed by a second semester focusing on global management strategies and corporate finance. The third semester emphasises the practical application of the acquired knowledge, while the majority of the fourth semester is dedicated to the preparation of the master's thesis.
Special features of the programme include its distinctive international orientation and practical approach, which promotes both the theoretical and practical skills of students through the opportunity to participate in business projects and simulations.
Graduates of the programme have excellent employment opportunities in various areas such as consulting, project management, marketing and sales, as well as in international companies in different industries.
