Who can study International Management at VICTORIA University?

The Bachelor's degree programme in International Management is aimed at everyone who aspires to a career in international companies or wishes to take on management tasks in an international environment. The course is particularly suitable for school leavers with a university entrance qualification as well as international applicants who are interested in economic contexts, cultural differences, and intercultural cooperation. Applicants should be open to international experiences and enjoy interacting with people from different cultures. The programme offers both a dual and a traditional study model, making it suitable for career starters as well as for those who want to gain practical experience alongside their studies.

Overview of admission requirements

• University entrance qualification: A German university entrance qualification (for example Abitur or Fachhochschulreife) or an equivalent foreign school-leaving certificate is required.
• English language skills: Proof of language proficiency at least at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
• Numerus clausus: There is no NC (Numerus clausus). The university places particular emphasis on your motivation and willingness to study.

Applications are possible all year round. The start of studies is in the winter semester at the Berlin location.

What is the study process like in the dual and classic model?

The International Management degree programme is designed for six semesters and a total of 180 ECTS credits. You can choose between two study models:

• Dual study programme: You attend classes in Berlin on just two days per week. On the remaining three days, you gain practical experience at the partner company.
• Classic study model: You have classes on two fixed days per week and can use the rest of the week for part-time jobs or self-study. Hybrid teaching is also optionally possible.

Most modules are taught entirely in English. The study programme is designed so that you build essential skills for international management and teamwork in an international context. A stay abroad is firmly anchored in the curriculum in the 5th semester to strengthen your intercultural action competence.

Where do you study International Management?

The classes mainly take place at the Berlin campus. Berlin is an important international business location and an attractive environment for students from all over the world. The Bachelor’s programme starts each year in the winter semester from October.

What costs and financing options do you have?

• Dual study programme: Usually, your partner company covers the tuition fees fully or partially. Additionally, you receive a monthly payment from the practical partner. Therefore, tuition fees can amount to as little as 0 € per month.
• Classic study model: The monthly tuition fees amount to €679. For financing, you can make use of BAföG or a KfW student loan. The study organisation with only two attendance days per week also allows for part-time work alongside your studies.
