Admission requirements

  • You already have a first professional qualifying university degree or an equivalent qualification (graduates of universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of applied sciences, vocational academies and dual universities or equivalent international educational institutions) in a degree programme with a focus on economics. Within this degree programme, you have earned at least 180 ECTS credit points.
  • Within the economic focus of the first degree, all core contents of a basic degree in economics (fundamentals of business administration and economics, business mathematics and statistics, basics of private and commercial law) must be included. If these core contents were not included in your first degree, you can complete corresponding supplementary modules before starting the programme.
  • Another requirement for admission is advanced English language skills in speaking and writing (comparable to level B2 of the Common European Framework). The level must be demonstrated by an appropriate certificate (e.g. Cambridge First Certificate in English, Internet-Based TOEFL test with at least 72 points) or an equivalent proof of competence.
