The master’s degree programme “Banking & Finance” builds on a first degree in economics and offers a specialisation in banking business areas of credit institutions that have high strategic importance. The three specialisation areas to choose from are:

- Bank management and banking supervision,

- Corporate customer business, and

- Auditing and trustee services.

 

With these specialisation options, the new master’s degree programme is a unique offer for the field of banking business administration. A high level of specialisation in the three areas ensures recognised qualifications as a specialist in the respective business field. In addition, the programme is characterised by a strong practical orientation of the course content and intensive support from academically specialised professors and experts from financial practice.

The master’s degree programme is organised as a part-time programme and leads to the internationally recognised degree “Master of Science” (four semesters/90 ECTS). The part-time study concept ensures good compatibility of study and work. In addition to a balanced combination of attendance-based study and academically supervised internet-supported self-study, courses in manageable group sizes promote successful studies.
