Admission requirements
Access to the Bachelor's degree is granted to those who can prove the general university entrance qualification, the subject-specific university entrance qualification, or the advanced technical college entrance qualification (§ 49 para. 1 HG NRW). Access to the course of study is also granted to those who can prove an equivalent recognised prior education or who have qualified through vocational training (§ 49 paragraphs 2 to 4 HG NRW).

The Bachelor's degree programme in Finance is a qualification offer for junior staff at savings banks, insurance companies, affiliated enterprises and other financial service providers who seek a demanding professional specialisation or want to take on initial management responsibilities. The business administration course with a focus on the credit industry offers students especially development opportunities in the following professional fields:
- Demanding advice for corporate and private clients,
- Management of sales units,
- Subject specialists, e.g. in real estate, securities, treasury, controlling, bank management, risk management, auditing, personnel, organisation or executive staff.
The academic focus of the business administration degree programme is banking management. The study focus defines the options from currently six specialisations, which cover essential strategic business fields of credit institutions.
The degree programme comprises a total of 210 ECTS credits and is designed for a duration of 7 semesters in part-time study alongside employment. The degree awarded is "Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)".
