The scholarships can cover either the full tuition fees or a portion of them, depending on the applicant’s individual financial situation and the number of available scholarships. The decision on the scope of the scholarship is made during the application process and is based on several key criteria.
One of the most important criteria is financial need. Applicants must provide proof of their financial situation, such as tax returns, bank statements, or other documentation showing income and financial obligations. In addition, the program looks at academic potential, motivation, and personal engagement. This means that rather than focusing solely on grades or test scores, the university values curiosity, creativity, and a strong commitment to learning and personal development. Applicants are expected to submit a personal statement or motivation letter explaining their goals and how the scholarship would help them achieve those goals.
Social engagement also plays a role in the selection process. Involvement in volunteer work, community service, or extracurricular activities can positively influence an application. Although optional, recommendation letters from teachers, mentors, or community leaders can further support the applicant's case by highlighting their strengths and potential.
The scholarship application process begins only after a student has been accepted into one of CODE’s degree programs, including the Bachelor of Arts in Business Management & Entrepreneurship. Once accepted, students can submit the necessary documentation for scholarship consideration.
Another advantage at CODE is the possibility to combine scholarships with other financial models, such as income share agreements (ISAs). For example, a student might receive a 50% scholarship and cover the remaining tuition with an ISA. After graduation, they would only repay the ISA-financed portion, making the total financial burden significantly lighter.
In summary, international students are welcome and encouraged to apply for scholarships at CODE. The university actively supports talented, motivated individuals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about shaping the digital future, regardless of their financial circumstances.
