The Bachelor's degree programme "Design, Art and Media" at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart qualifies students across a broad range of activities in design, art and media. This area of study enables students to acquire specialised and interdisciplinary knowledge as well as to develop methodological and generic competences.

The programme includes various pathways such as Film and Video, Interface Design and Visual Communication, covering a wide spectrum of current media production. By combining design, art, technology and theoretical issues, students are prepared to become independent media authors. They learn to create self-defined content in various media formats, to publish it, and to participate in societal dialogues in the fields of culture, aesthetics and science.
