These are the requirements for the Bachelor of Social Work

With your Bachelor's in Social Work, you can work, for example, as a social worker for the social service in hospitals, as a social pedagogue in child and youth welfare, or as a social worker for contact point work and street social work.

You can be admitted to the dual study program at IU International University if you have either a high school diploma (general university entrance qualification), a technical college entrance qualification, or a subject-specific university entrance qualification.

Furthermore, you can study Social Work without a high school diploma. For the dual study program without a high school diploma, you need to have completed an advanced training course, such as becoming a state-certified business economist, or have a master craftsman's certificate. Or you have completed vocational training and worked full-time for at least 3 years after this training.

This bachelor's degree at IU comprises approximately 48 modules which you will take and complete over 7 semesters of standard study time. Each module is worth 5-10 credit points (ECTS) and concludes with an examination performance such as a paper or an exam. In total, you will work your way through 180 credit points from module to module and from semester to semester.
