For admission, the following is required:

  • General university entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification or an equivalent university entrance qualification
  • Proof of German language proficiency at least C1 level (for international student applicants)

Details

The Master's degree programme in Psychology at SRH University is designed for graduates of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology who wish to deepen and specialise their expertise. The programme offers a solid academic education with a strong practical focus, covering both fundamental and applied psychological content. Students have the opportunity to specialise in various fields such as Health Psychology, Neuropsychology, Crisis Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Sports Psychology, or Business Psychology. The programme is structured as a four-semester full-time course, worth 120 ECTS points.

  • In the first semester, the focus is on research methods, psychological diagnostics, and basic models and concepts, with the specialisation varying by location.
  • The second semester is dedicated to project studies, deepening in the chosen emphasis, and further exploration of basic psychological subjects (e.g. developmental, social, biological, personality, or cognitive psychology).
  • In the third semester, advanced research methods, a supplementary field of application (e.g. Clinical Psychology, Market Psychology, Counseling, or Workplace Safety), and a practical internship take centre stage.
  • The fourth semester is entirely devoted to the completion of the Master's thesis.
