Admission Requirements
This master's programme is offered in a total of 3 variations: with 60 ECTS, with 90 ECTS, and with 120 ECTS. The best variation for you depends on your individual prerequisites and your already acquired credit points.
The following is required for admission to this master's programme:
You have completed your first university degree with a focus on design, management, or sustainability. If you have completed a non-industry-specific degree programme, you may be able to make up for any missing knowledge through bridging courses.
- If your degree programme consists of 240 ECTS, you can enrol in the 2-semester variation with 60 ECTS.
- If your degree programme consists of 220 ECTS, you can enrol in the 3-semester variation with 90 ECTS.
- If your degree programme consists of 180 ECTS, you can enrol in the 4-semester variation with 120 ECTS.

Study Contents and Specializations
The Master's programme "Sustainable Design Management" combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills and focuses particularly on the ecological, social, and economic aspects of design. Students learn strategies and methods to conceive, implement, and manage sustainable design. Topics such as resource efficiency, circular economy, and social responsibility are also covered. Graduates are prepared to incorporate aspects of sustainability into design processes and business strategies and to develop innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
The 2-semester study plan includes the following modules:
- 1st and 2nd Semester: Animation, Corporate Design, Editorial Design, Film Design, Illustration, Interface Design, Photography, Furniture Design, Poster Design, Product Design, Typography, and more.
During the course of the programme, you will also delve into exciting specializations, such as product design, illustration.
