To be admitted to the part-time Master's program in Computer Science at IU International University, you need to have completed an initial degree at a state-recognized or state university, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The final grade of your degree should be at least "Satisfactory."

The focus of your primary degree should also be in the field of Computer Science or a related discipline. If your primary degree does not have a focus in Computer Science, you can still be admitted through a Master's entrance examination.

In addition, you can have prior credits recognized to shorten the study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. Credits that you have earned in previous Master's programs can be recognized. Extensive professional experience in the field of Computer Science can also be acknowledged by the university. This Master's program at IU consists of approximately 8 modules that you take and complete over a period of 4 semesters of standard study time. Each module is worth 5-10 credit points (ECTS) and concludes with an examination such as a term paper or an exam. In total, you will earn 120 credit points from one module to another and from one semester to the next.

How flexible is the standard study time in distance learning Computer Science

• In the full-time program, the standard study time is 4 semesters or 24 months. You can extend the standard study time by up to 2 semesters or 12 months at no additional cost. • In part-time program II, the standard study time is 8 semesters or 48 months. You can extend the standard study time by up to 2 semesters or 12 months at no additional cost. Part-time program II is especially suitable if you are heavily involved in your profession alongside your distance learning.
