Luxury Management (M.Sc.): Who is the course suitable for?

What admission requirements do you have to meet?
For admission to the Master's in Luxury Management, you need:
- A completed Bachelor's degree programme of at least six semesters with 180 ECTS credits.
- At least 30 ECTS credits in economics or management from your prior studies.
- If you have acquired fewer than 30 ECTS in economic or management-related modules, participation in an online admission test to prove the required knowledge is possible.
- English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), to be proven, for example, by a recognised language test, high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
To successfully begin this course, you need a strong interest in international markets and trends in the luxury sector. Analytical thinking, communication skills and organisational talent are important personal prerequisites. Experience in marketing, sales, brand management or event management is advantageous – as well as teamwork, initiative, a high willingness to learn and intercultural openness. Good English skills and enjoyment of international cooperation are expected, as the entire course is conducted in English and international collaborations are a key focus.

In the Luxury Management Master's programme at Hochschule Fresenius, you will engage intensively with management approaches in the luxury segment. How does the course work?
The course lasts four semesters and is organised as a full-time on-campus programme. The lessons take place at the Cologne campus. The focus is on lectures, seminars, practical projects and project-based team work. You will gain practical experience through excursions, case studies and the compulsory internship. International aspects are emphasised through English-language teaching content, elective modules on Intercultural Communication & Competence and the possibility of a semester abroad.
The course comprises 120 ECTS credits and concludes with the master’s thesis in the fourth semester. StudyPLUS offerings provide you with additional courses in languages, career development and personal further training.

Costs and Financing: What you need to plan for
The monthly tuition fee is 880 euros (a total of 21,120 euros for four semesters). In addition, there is a one-off registration fee of 695 euros. The price includes all on-site classes, teaching materials, individual support, access to StudyPLUS offerings and language courses.
