Admission requirements

A Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent qualification) with at least six semesters at a university (or an equivalent institution), a university of applied sciences in Germany, or an equivalent institution abroad with a minimum grade of "Satisfactory" Good English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This language proficiency can be demonstrated with the following certificates: IELTS exam: minimum score 5.5 TOEFL iBT: minimum score 72 PTE: minimum score 59 German language skills are not required for the master's programme.

The Master's programme in Strategic Management in Logistics offers advanced training in the field of global transportation, distribution, inventory, procurement, and supply chain management. Students explore how logistics businesses can be managed with IT support, infrastructure, and personnel development in an increasingly digitalized economy.

Experienced instructors, who provide students with practical knowledge from the industry, lead this programme. As with all programs at bbw University, the course content has been developed by Academic Councils consisting of professionals from industry associations and companies active in logistics.

The ongoing involvement of these experts in the course ensures that graduates have the knowledge and skills they need for immediate employment at some of the world's leading logistics companies. Logistics and supply chain management continue to be a relatively new field of study with significant employment opportunities as companies recognize the potential savings through good procurement strategies.

During the course, students also develop their project management skills with corporate program partners, including the Deutsche Bahn, Stadler AG, Siemens AG, and Daimler AG.
